This magnificent, Late Victorian Era antique brooch (circa The Aesthetic Period, 1885-1901) features rose cut diamonds, natural seed pearls, and wonderful guilloché enamel work in solid 18 karat gold.

The piece is multi-layered with a 3-dimensional, enameled centerpiece.  The lady's portrait is enameled in blue, red, green, orange and white.  Please note the intricacies in the enamelwork:  The delicate pearl necklace she's wearing, the subtle guilloché enamel work that brings the fabric of her clothing to life, and our personal favorite...the subtle pink blush makeup on her cheeks!  Simply stunning details throughout!

There are a total of eleven (11) antique rose cut diamonds bead-set in her bonnet and clothing.

The outer border of the brooch has a lovely, spiral motif that spans 31mm in overall diameter.

The piece is fastened by a pin with a handmade C-catch.  The pin has a safety chain that passes through it with a stickpin at each end of the safety chain, for style as well as additional protection against loss.

The stickpins are decorated with two (2) natural pearls, one at the end of each stickpin.  These natural pearls are a lovely, light silver hue.

The brooch and stickpins are hallmarked with various touch marks.  An owl mark is stamped in multiple places throughout, indicating it was imported to France sometime after 1893.  It is also stamped with at least 2 other marks that we are not familiar with.

PLEASE NOTE:  THE ENAMEL IS 99% INTACT WITH VERY MINOR AREAS OF WEAR.  PLEASE SEE PHOTOS FOR EXACT CONDITION.

Fabric shaver works fine but the shield gets in the way, and the included lint roller is terrible
Color: Sage, Size: Large, Color: Sage, Size: Large
I ordered this to replace an older, smaller fabric shaver that still worked fairly well but had an extremely annoying battery compartment that would slide open during use. I do not have that issue at all with this one. In fact, the compartment is almost a little too secure, as it can be difficult to open and I sometimes make a mess when emptying it, but that is likely just something I need to get used to. The shaver itself works well enough overall, but I do think the fabric shield should be adjustable to sit closer to the blades. You can rotate it to change the position, but it does not get close enough to the fabric to work effectively without applying extra pressure. Once I figured out how much pressure is needed, it performed consistently, and I am generally satisfied with the results. I also prefer this handle style over the electric razor style shavers, so the grip and overall shape worked well for me. The included lint roller, however, is awful. Mine arrived noticeably warped and looked almost like it had water damage, even though it was fully sealed in plastic. I am not sure what caused that, but it was barely usable out of the box, so it did not feel like a major loss. The adhesive sheets are extremely thin and feel more like slick, lightly sticky wax paper rather than the thicker paper style sheets I normally use. The perforation is also poorly designed, which makes removing used sheets frustrating. The sheets kept peeling incorrectly until I realized you have to tear them straight across horizontally, similar to separating toilet paper. Even after figuring that out, it was still annoying to deal with. To make matters worse, the handle started cracking almost immediately once I applied enough pressure to actually roll it across fabric. At that point, it was effectively unusable.aaaAAA I mainly ordered this bundle for the large fabric shaver, which I didn't see sold separately on Amazon. I think $14.99 is a reasonable price for this type of shaver, but the cost could likely be lower if they did not include the low quality lint roller.
